With the proliferation of web-based software for schools, until now there was no one place to go to view and compare these many tools. School Web Tools was created to be a comprehensive directory of web tools for school administrators and teachers in both public and private schools. The directory includes tools for:

building school and district web sites
creating teacher pages
managing grade distribution
communicating with families
other administrative tools

The directory also provides users of the tools listed the ability to include their reviews and ratings to help other teachers and administrators select the most useful web tools. School Web Tools is a project of Ladd Media, an independent company founded to assist schools, nonprofits and small businesses with their web strategies. Ladd Media has developed web sites for several schools and districts, both public and private.
